The United Nations is now set to take over the official peacekeeping progress in Central Africa, reports Krista Larson from Senegal. Nine months after violence killed 5,000 and left tens of thousands of muslims dislocated, this change is a little shimmer of hope. Some thing the change will be aesthetic, and won't stem the tide of dying civilians; other's are very hopeful.
