In the aftermath of the Hutu exodus and genocide, there are still traces of the FDLR in Rwanda. Their force is estimated to be at around 1500 people strong, with about 300 of the soldiers being original genocide-era. They mostly terrorize the natives in the more remote parts of Rwanda, and can not make much of a strong move against the Rwandan military any longer.
