Nigerian Man Rescued After Three Days Underwater



There was recently a video that was released yesterday of a 

Nigerian man who survived three days underwater. The man 

was underwater do to an overturned boat in the Atlantic coast 

close to Nigeria. A South African rescue diver went into the 

ocean expecting to just get and recover the dead bodies in 

the water. Although, when he was swimming a hand reached 

toward him asking for help. The man who was surviving under 

water (Harrison Okene,)  was surviving simply by breathing 

from a small air pocket and taking sips of coca-cola.

Bombs Kill 15 People in Nigeria's Kano


In Nigera's Kano (northern city in Nigeria) on July 29, 2013 
there was a bomb that went of. This specific bomb was targeted targeted by the Islamist terrorist group Boko Haram. This bomb killed 15 innocent people. The only reasons reporters found out about this bomb was because of a senior police man and several eye witnesses that were fortunate enough not to be dead. The eye witnesses said that they saw dead bodies after hearing multiple blasts at around 9:30 p.m in the Sabon Gari district, a predominantly Christian area dominated by ethnic Igbos from the southeast.

President Goodluck Jonathan's Biggest Threat Yet




On July 31st, 2013 in Nigeria, Nigeria's electoral commission 
has approved the merging of three main opposition parties 
together.  Although, this move could most definitely be the 
biggest, credible threat on to the long-ruling party of 
Nigeria's president, Goodluck Jonathan. Because, for about 30 years of military dictatorship which was ended in 1999, the People's Democratic Party have continued to win every presidential poll.

Suspected Islamists Steal 125kg of Dynamite in North Nigeria


In Damaturiu, Nigeria on July 31, 2013  there were Islamist 

gunmen suspected to be allied with another Islamic terrorist 

group. This specific terrorist group was (Islamist sect Boko 

Haram)  was also suspected to have stormed a construction 

site in northeast Nigeria. After they destroyed and robbed the 

construction site they took off  with 125 kg (275 pounds) of 

dynamite and hundreds of detonators. We know all of this 

because of two security sources said that witnessed it.
