Kenya's Anti-terror Unit


Recent the Humans Rights Watch, HRW, have stated of anti-terrorism in Kenya. These attacks are by a security forces that is funded by US and UK. The security forces were set up in 2003 to help secure against terrorism, such as the bombing 5 years prior. HRW also stated that it seems that the attacks have being going on since 2011, and “under the nose of the government and officials”. Since 2011 there have been over 10 killings, 10 disappearances, and 11 cases of mistreatment or harassment of terrorism suspects. Many of these suspects are believed to have connections to the the bombing and these attacks are to ensure another doesn’t happen.
