Twenty two students at Ogba Junior Grammar School, Lagos, fell unconscious on Thursday.  The students’ unconsciousness was caused by a gaseous substance emitting from a neighboring laboratory near the school.  The chemical swamped the entire school.  When correspondents visited the school grounds, it was vacant.  According to a security guard, the incident occurred around 1 p.m.  “Pupils came running, saying some of their colleagues had fainted. When the smell subsided, teachers rallied around and rushed them to a hospital,” explained the security guard.  Teachers tried to use clothes to cover their nostrils in attempt to keep out the chemical.  This school was the only school affected because the laboratory faced the school directly.

  3. Thats crazy how little mystery things that you don't know that are in the air will kill you, but then its kind of harder to take care of if you dont know where it comes from.
