The violence had dwindled down but over the last few days has resurfaced. in Sidi Bouzid, demonstrators threw cocktails at security, causing the police to fire warning shots. 2 other protestors were seriously injured.
Youths gathered Sunday and threw gasoline bombs and rocks at police and soldiers, set a car on fire and smashed storefronts. In turn, the police fired warning shots to disperse the crowd, at one of those stray bullets were said to have killed the 14-year-old boy.
9 people were arrested that night.
