8 men who appeared in a video of a homosexual marriage ceremony were sentenced to 3 years in prison for "inciting debauchery." The video clip was branded "shameful to God."
A spokesperson for the justice ministry's forensics department seems to think otherwise. He says, "The entire case is made up and lacks basis. The police did not arrest them red-handed and the video does not prove anything."
The video was of two men in a boat on the Nile exchanging rings while their friends cheered for them.
