Tunisian Rappers Arrested
On September 2nd rappers Weld El 15 and Klay BBJ were arrested for defaming police. They were sentenced that Friday to 1 year and 9 months in African prison. The rappers defense was the police stopped one of their shows and put Weld El 15 in the hospital for 15 days. This incident was believed to be a response to their song "Boulicia Kleb" or "Police are dogs", where in this music video police are shown roughing up demonstrators. Police simply responded, "There is no excuse for insulting policemen, they attacked us in the name of freedom of expression, and deserve their punishment."

Almost 2 years just for slandering! Rappers in America talk about people all the time, and haven't been arrested. Tunisia must be strict.
