Spanish and Moroccan Police Arrest 9

The Spanish and Moroccan police arrested 9 suspects of a militant cell that recruited jihadists for Syria-based group Islamic State.
Both police have  increased their  watch on Islamist cells due to growing radicalism in northern Morocco and Spanish enclaves.
Friday's cell was led by M.S.M, a Moroccan-born Spanish citizen.
People who were part of the Spanish party are linked to the cell. This causes the probe to focus on whether or not veterans have been forming terror cells, seeking to arrange terror strikes in Morocco and Europe.
In May six suspected jihadists including a veteran of the Mali conflict were arrested were detained, four suspected militants in March were arrested in Spain and three in Morocco.

Egypt: Mursi Espionage Trial Adjourned

Cairo — An Egyotian court postponed on Monday the trial of ousted Islamist President Mohamed Mursi and 35 other defendants accused of espionage to October 14.
Mursi and the other defendants are charged with espionage, disclosing state secrets to foreign countries, funding terrorism, conducting military training to serve an international branch of the Brotherhood, and "endangering the independence, unity and safety of the state."
The former president, ousted since July 2013, is implicated in a group of other court cases. He is being tried for inciting the killing of protesters outside the presidential palace during his tenure in December 2012, insulting the judiciary, and escaping from the Wadi al-Natroun Prison during the 18-day January 25 uprising in 2011.
Other defendants in the trial include Muslim Brotherhood Supreme Guide Mohamed Badie, his deputies Khairat al-Shater and Mahmoud Ezzat, as well as other group leaders and former presidential advisers. Sixteen defendants are being tried in absentia.
The prosecutor general's office said Mursi, the head of his presidential office Ahmed Abdelatti and his personal secretary Amin al-Srifi leaked the intelligence with the help of eight "spies" and in exchange for a million dollars, adding that they were carrying out the instructions of the "terrorist" Muslim Brotherhood international organisation.

UN Takes Over Central Africa Peacekeeping

Sep, 15th, 2014, 11AM

The United Nations is now set to take over the official peacekeeping progress in Central Africa, reports Krista Larson from Senegal. Nine months after violence killed 5,000 and left tens of thousands of muslims dislocated, this change is a little shimmer of hope. Some thing the change will be aesthetic, and won't stem the tide of dying civilians; other's are very hopeful.
